GONOW Auto is an integrated group which produces complete vehicle and spare parts. Established on September 27th, 2003, the group has 3 manufacturing base of complete vehicle with annual production capacity of 300 000 units of Pickups, SUV, Mini-Van, Mini-bus, Light truck and 300 000 units of engines, 1 R&D Institute, 2 sales companies, 7 spare parts factories with totally more than 3000 employees, 300 of whom are senior engineers and senior administrators, 50 of whom are quality control staff.
Zhejiang GONOW Auto Co., Ltd is the mother company of GONOW, located at Luqiao central industrial park, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province where the traffic is very convenient with 104 national highway and Yongtaiwen high way nearby, Haimen Port at hand and Huangyan Airport 2 kilometers away. Taizhou, as the cradle of the Chinese private enterprises, is an ideal place for the development of vehicle manufacturing enterprises, for many spare parts suppliers and its good commercial environment. Phase one construction of land use takes 268, 000 square meters with annual production capacity of 60, 000 pickup, SUV and 60, 000 engines.
GONOW Auto is not only an enterprise mainly supported by Zhejiang provincial government, but also a "State Vehicle Export Base" awarded by Board of Trade and National Development and Reform Commission, "Chinese Famous Brand" and many other awards as well. The group created "GONOW speed" in the Chinese private enterprise building vehicle history by rolling the first vehicle off the production line in 168 days after it’s foundation and then lunching to the market 3 months later. What's more, GONOW became the No. 3 in the Chinese economic SUV segment with the production of more than 10, 000 units of Pickups and SUVs in GONOW Auto in 2005, which was also remarkable on the export when 161 units of Pickups were exported to Europe and 2050 units were exported to Africa as the biggest single order in 2005.
